This site is provided as a service to our residents and business associates who wish to have computer access to tax information. Tax Payments can be made by mail or in person at the Ghent Town Hall during the hours of Monday – Friday 8:30 am to 3 pm or Wednesday evenings 5pm to 8pm. Payments in cash or check are accepted, made payable to Town of Ghent or Ghent Tax Collector.
Tax payments will be accepted beginning January 2, 2013 to January 31, 2013 without penalty and postmarks are accepted. Payments made after the due date will be subject to penalty and be accepted until May 31, 2013 after which time the taxpayer should call the Columbia County Treasurer’s office for payment instructions. The Treasurer’s office number is 518-828-0513.
