Tax Payments will be accepted in person at
the NEW Town Hall (518-325-5073) in January only
Tues, Thurs, & Sat 9-Noon (after hours 518-325-5537)
or by mail to Joseph Hanselman Jr., Tax Collector
PO Box 232, Hillsdale, NY 12529.
Bills are due by January 31st with out penalty, and Postmark is accepted as paid. Payments after February 1st will require penalty of 1% per month, call for amount due. If payment is not received by April 1st, a second notice will be sent with a $1.00 fee attached. Payments will be accepted through May 31st, after which time the tax payer should call the Columbia County Treasurer (518-828-0513) for payment instructions.
