The Town Clerk & Tax Collector’s Office hours
are Monday Evenings 6pm – 8pm; Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays
and Saturdays 9:30am – 12:30.
Closed on Wednesdays
Payments are accepted in Cash or Checks payable to
Town of Stuyvesant or Stuyvesant Tax Collector.
The due date for bills is January 31st without penalty
and we do accept the postmark. Beginning with
February 1st there will be 1% interest charged on the
balance and will increase by 1% through May 31st.
Second notices are sent out for April 1st and an
additional $2.00 will be added to the balance for a
notice fee. All tax bills are turned over to the
Columbia County Treasurer’s Office on June 1st.
Taxes may be paid in installments – with a minimum of
1/3 being accepted. Please note – interest will be charged
monthly on any remaining balance.
